2 days to go

Today, after being in the Memorial Day Parade, we started to pack some things. I have almost all of my stuff packed. It is easy when you have 1 bag!  We are finalizing all of the last minute things. Can't wait for Wednesday. We will go to Marietta & spend the night with Jim & Rose. We won't have to fight the Atlanta morning traffic that way.  A local newspaper wants to interview us tomorrow evening. That should be interesting!

7 days to go

Ray & I went to Rose & Jim Donaldson's home Monday night to finalize our plans.  We are s-o-o-o looking forward to this adventure.  Even though we don't know them that well, we seem to have similiar views on where to go, how far each day, etc. It is nice to be on the same wave length.

14 days to go

Today Ray put the new tires on the "A". Jim is working on our route. We will try to go a direct route (as direct as you can go to Alaska & the Artic Circle). Then take our time site seeing in Alaska & back home through the northwestern states. Can't wait for our adventure to begin! My job is to learn how to create this blog.
