Last day in Canada

Ray and Teri's 42nd anniversary is today. We left the hotel about 8AM. There were not any set backs today. The morning went fine. Again the scenery was spectacular. We stopped for lunch at Teslin. Teslin has a large Tlingit Indian population. We went to the George Johnston Museum. George was an amateur photographer and a member of the Tlingits. He was able to capture the Tlingit way of life through photos. He bought a 1926 Chevrolet and had it delivered by boat. It was the first car in the area and he built a three mile road to drive on. Later this road was taken over by the Alcan highway.  We had a nice afternoon drive and arrived at Whitehorse a little before 6PM. Had a great dinner, we ate Alaskian Halibut for the first time at a restaurant down by the river that locals recommended. Now Rose and I are doing laundry.  We drove about 270 miles today. That makes our total about 4,400.  Tomorrow, we will be back in the states, in Tok, Alaska.  It will be a longer day, about 370 miles.
